Hi I'm Gareth Wood
I was born and grew up in New Zealand. My father is from USA and my mother is a New Zealander. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I was born and grew up in the South Island of New Zealand and was Home Schooled from the age of 7 years. I have a close family and we were all raised with a gospel focus. I have studied trades and agriculture. I have worked as a gardener and then as a factory worker where I was involved with processing tuna fish and also ice cream production. I enjoy camping, fishing, swimming and kayaking. I also enjoy watching good movies.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Momon because I know that I am a child of God and that He created this world for us to help us return home to Him. I continue to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ because I know what it feels like to be without the Holy Ghost, which makes me feel as if I have no place in the world. When I have the Holy Ghost with me I feel as if I have a home and that I am loved.
How I live my faith
I am a volunteer fire fighter in our community and I like to help people when I can. I have worked with my father and other church members to give firewood to the elderly members of the church and help them with their yard work.
