Hi I'm Lauren Peck

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. I love to sing and play music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from high school and am currently a student at BYU-Idaho. I will be serving a mission in the South Carolina Columbia mission! My hobbies include rock climbing, horseback riding, and performing on stage.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ on this Earth. I know that our Heavenly Father has a great plan of happiness for all of us and that we chose to follow this plan before this life. I know Jesus Christ came to Earth to pay a debt He did not owe because we owed a debt we could not pay and that He loves me despite my shortcomings. Through Jesus Christ's Atonement we can all return to live with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and our families in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying true to what I believe even when no one is watching. I have been a youth leader in my ward and stake and was recently a Sunday school teacher in my student ward at school.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Lauren Peck
We absolutely regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and it is the word of God. It was written by holy men of God as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. This is the same process through which we have received additional Holy Scripture including the Book of Mormon. These two books from Heavenly Father support one another and go hand in hand in testifying of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
