Hi I'm Kenly

I'm a daughter, sister, college student, and friend. But more than all of that, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am a college student and am studying to be a history and a Spanish teacher! I have two younger sisters and no brothers. My family is the most important thing in my life and I am so grateful that I can be with them for forever and that through the church I have this knowledge!

Why I am a Mormon

I've always grown up as a member of the church. Even though I went because it was what my family did, I had to gain my own testimony of why I believe that the things that do. One of the things that I love most about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the unity that we have within our congregations and the service that we provide within our community. I have gained many new friendships with people in my community and we are always there for one another. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ really did suffer and die for each of us and that through Him, we can feel peace, hope, and his love for each of his children. If I did not know that this church was true with all of my heart, I would not be leaving my family, friends, and life at home for 18 months, but because I know how happy the church makes me, I know that I have to share it with those who don't have the knowledge that I do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in several ways. One of the ways that I am living my faith is by preparing to serve a mission in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and to share the happiness that the church has given me to the people of Rio! Another way that I contribute to the church is by teaching lessons in Sunday School classes.
