Hi I'm Pat

I was born and raised in Idaho but have lived the majority of my life in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of one son and five daughters and have been blessed with 21 beautiful grandchildren. After my children were raised I went to work and became a certified election and voter registration administrator.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old but my parents were not active in the church. My next door neighbor always give me a ride to church when I was young so I had the opportunity to learn the basic gospel principals. As I became a teenager I credit my good friends with keeping me active in the church and helping me gain a testimony for myself. As a teenager there was a few times that I did something that I shouldn't have, like stay out too late, so my parents would ground (forbid) me from doing things with my friends, except the church activities, which was interesting because they never went to church. When I was preparing to get married my parents were very supportive of my decision to be married in the temple. Even though they could not go into the temple for the actual ceremony, they waiting outside for us and participated in all the other celebration activities. I am so grateful that my parents knew how important the gospel was to me and gave me so much support and encouragement.

How I live my faith

I've had many callings in my local ward that gave me the opportunity to work with the young women (ages 12-18) for many years. Besides teaching them gospel lessons on Sunday I went with them to girls camp for 25 years.
