Hi I'm Jason

I'm from a small midwestern town. I was a scholastic bowl star, student leader, salutatorian, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Jason and I'm from a small Illinois town near the Indiana border. I recently graduated from high school as my class salutatorian. In high school, I participated in scholastic bowl, band, student leadership, and other similar activities. I am preparing for my mission. I was called to the Salt Lake City East Mission. I am planning to Brigham Young Univerisity following my two-year mission. I enjoy learning and understanding the world I live in and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to two parents who were life-long members of the church. I was taught the doctrines of the church from an early age. When we moved to Illinois, we were able to visit Nauvoo (a historic LDS city that has been rebuilt). I became familiar with their stories, especially that of the prophet Joseph Smith. When I was seven, I was given the opportunity

How I live my faith

Where I live there are not that many members of the church. So I am the first impression that many of my friends will have of the church. I lived my life so I would be a positive example and a good representative of what I believe. Above having good character, I participated in many extra-curricular activities and being a positive addition to my school. I let my religion show from my genuine enthusiasm, my hard work, and my perseverance. I also participated regularly at church serving others including participating in giving the sacrament to the congregation.
