Hi I'm Sam Bean

I was born in Boise, ID and grew up in Alpine, UT. I love math, science, and astronomy! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sam Bean! I love astronomy, math, and will probably be an aeronautical engineer. Not sure on that yet. I'm currently a missionary in the Texas Lubbock Mission, and will be returning home in February 2019. I will be attending Snow College afterward, and after finishing there, either USU or BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received undeniable confirmation from the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true. I'm sure many have heard that more than once, but it really is the foundation of any member's testimony. The joy that living the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is incomparable to any other joy one can experience in this life. When I was in the training center for missionaries in Provo, UT, I had an experience where, after being very stressed about going out and teaching for two years, another missionary helped me. The Holy Ghost taught me through him just how much Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me, and that serving God in this way is what I needed to do at this time. The only reason God would give me any such confirmation about going around teaching people about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is if it's true, and therefore it must be, because God cannot lie. I am forever grateful to know that, and I know if I can come to know it, anyone can.

How I live my faith

I study daily, I try to consistently ask the Lord to be involved in my life, and I attend church weekly. The things I have learned from these simple three things has been amazing.
