Hi I'm Molly Carter

I grew up in small town in Washington state. I'm heavily involved in theater and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm 19 years old, I'm the oldest in my family of seven. I grew up in a small college and farming town in the center of Washington state. I am currently attending college in Colorado studying theater performance, and am preparing to serve a mission in the Texas Lubbock mission starting in June. I have a great love of music and theater. I started playing piano when I was six and started playing the clarinet when I was eleven. My dad and I started doing musical theater when I was twelve and have done at least one musical every year since. I love listening to music and dancing around my room like no one is watching. I have a great love of children and their wonderful imaginations. I've done many different sports in my youth, soft-ball, soccer, swimming and tennis.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe. I know that this is the true and everlasting church. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today who, through personal revelation, gives us guidance and truth given him by the Lord through the Holy Ghost. I know that personal revelation is still on the earth today, it is through personal revelation that I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it testifies of Christ. It is through personal revelation that I know I am a Child of God, that He knows and loves me personally, I know that we are all His children and that He loves and cares for all of us individually. I know that Lord has a plan for each of us and that His timing is far greater than our own. He knows and wants what is best for us which is why we have the commandments we do and why I chose to follow them, because I know they are there to protect me and to help me return to Him someday. I know that after this life we will all be judged and that we will be reunited with our families again if we chose the right path and follow Christ and His teachings and participate in the saving ordinances the gospel has put in place for each of us. I love the temple and all the blessings that they have to offer to all those who enter and who are worthy to enter into their walls. I know families are forever and that we will live for all eternity. I love this gospel, I love my family, my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost and I know that without them I would be completely lost. I know these things to be true and I can not deny them.

How I live my faith

I've served my church in many ways, I am currently the music leader during the first larger meeting. But I have been a Young Women's leader and have helped to plan many different activities for the youth.
