Hi I'm Logan

I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. I love sports. I love the snow. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very neat and tidy person. I enjoy keeping my room clean. Cooking is also something I really enjoy. Sports are my favorite though. Basketball was my thing growing up, I loved it as a kid all the way through high school. I grew up in the Church in an area where there were not many others of my faith. Growing up with all my friends being non-members was hard, but I've found that the older I've become the more appreciative I am of the Gospel. I love God, and am so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ. This Church is for every man, woman and child, and I am so blessed to be a part of this restored Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

Everyone wonders at some point or another why we are here on earth. I was born into this Church, so I always had a good religious perspective on the question. Through High School I fell backwards in many ways with so much temptation around me, and by the time I was finishing school I really had to look around and and ask myself what I wanted with my life. I started to really ask myself those life questions. What's the point of it all? Why am I even here? I decided for the first time in a long time to really dedicate myself to reading my scriptures and praying to find answers. I even asked friends and family the tough questions I had always struggled with. One of the original reasons I came to the definitive conclusion that this is the true Church of God, was seeing the happiness and drive in life that so many members have. All I had to do was look around at the influences I had within the Church, and those outside the Church, and I realised what I would be missing out on in life if I let my Testimony fade away. I was lucky enough to have two brothers who served missions before me, and am so very grateful to be worthy to go to the temple, and serve a full time mission. I have gained a strong testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith, the Atonement of Christ, and my loving God above. I am so blessed to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I strive every day to move forward and progress spiritually. Although there are always setbacks and bumps in the road, I can keep moving forward knowing that I can repent and try harder the next day. No one is perfect, and as long as we try our very best, God knows us and will always love us. I try to keep this message in my head always. This is a Gospel of love. I try everyday to show charity to others, and trying to make everyone's day a little more joyous. I am serving a full time mission for two years in Tampico Mexico. I leave in just under a month. I am so excited to serve my God, and the people in Mexico.
