Hi I'm Brigham Harrison

I'm a Mormon. I'm a swimmer. Called to serve in Brazil!

About Me

I was born and raised in good old Utah. I attend BYU where I have the chance to compete on their swim team. I am preparing to serve my mission in Brazil Recife, and couldn't be more excited! I love to read, play the piano and travel all over the world. I am currently Medical Assistant and want to go on to Medical School one day to become a surgeon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I want to return with my family to live with Heavenly Father again. The knowledge of Heavenly Father, His Son, and the Plan of Happiness has brought more joy to my life than I can ever say. As I have tried to live the teachings of the gospel and keep the commandments, I have gained a powerful testimony that they really are the principles of happiness, and that as we do what God asks we will be blessed more than we can comprehend.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith my following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. I strive to follow his example by loving and serving others, by keeping His commandments and always remembering Him. I follow the counsel of our Church leaders by praying and reading my scriptures daily, attending the temple, and going to Church each week. I am beyond excited to serve as a missionary soon, but have served on Youth and Seminary Councils, Quorum Presidency, and Family Home Evening.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Brigham Harrison
The Atonement of Jesus Christ was when Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth and, at the end of His life, sacrificed by taking upon Him all of our sins so that through Him and because of Him we could become clean, we could repent, and we could be forgiven. He experienced everything you or I could ever experience - all the heartache, pain, misery, guilt, anger, and everything else so that He could comfort us, lift us, and help us in all our times of need. And in the end He died on the cross for us, so that we could be Resurrected and live again. Show more Show less
