Hi I'm Baylee

I grew up in Poulsbo, WA. I am an avid music listener. I have a serious case of the travel bug, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah but then moved to Washington state when I was six, where I learned to love the smell of pine trees and ocean water. I love reading, watching movies - especially classic 80s movies, and listening to all kinds of music. If I had all the money in the world, I would spend it on peanut butter or plane tickets. I started my first year of college at Weber State University in Utah and am now preparing to serve a mission in Nashville, Tennessee.

Why I am a Mormon

I have known since I was a young girl that by living the gospel of Jesus Christ, we can all be comforted and protected. The knowledge I have of our Savior has always brought me peace in knowing that our Father in Heaven has a plan for us and that through his son, we can return to live with him again. My parents raised me in a Christ centered home, but I came to know that these things are true through my own personal scripture study and fervent prayer. The happiness I have found through this gospel brings not only me, but my family peace in knowing that we can live together even after this life and that brings me so much peace.

How I live my faith

In the past I have enjoyed serving in many church callings where I was able to teach and lift up other young girls. In my high school career, I also enjoyed participating in many service projects for the homeless and the elderly. I live my faith by lifting up others and offering support to them when needed. I find that by providing a listening ear to all helps others feel comforted and loved. My Savior walked humbly and righteously among his disciples to provide an example for them. I strive to find simple ways to serve daily those around me.
