Hi I'm Beth

I love camping with my family. I enjoy rainy-day walks and reading classic literature. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outside when the weather is nice. I especially love to be in the mountains reading a book. I'm currently attending college in Utah, studying to be an English teacher. However, I've put my studies on hold to share the gospel with people who haven't heard of it before. I love everything about literature. My favorite food is bread and cheese. I am an older sister, and I love to play games with my siblings. All in all, I love to be spending time with family and good friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon, but once I went off to school it could have been easy for me to decide this religion wasn't for me anymore. But being raised a Mormon didn't mean I blindly trusted the faith of my parents. I was encouraged from a young age to seek out my own faith and knowledge of the gospel, and so I did. That made the choice to remain a Mormon after I left for school easier. Today, I'm a Mormon because this Church is where I've found the most happiness in my life. It's where I've found peace in the knowledge that families can be together forever after my grandma passed away. It's where I've found comfort during my hardest days just by understanding that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me unconditionally and that They are there to help me through life. It's where I've found guidance and reassurance by reading the Book of Mormon and praying to Heavenly Father, especially when I had hard decisions to make. It's where I've found healing by relying on Christ to repent of my mistakes. It's where I've found answers to questions about life and our purpose here. Because of my faith, I know we have a purpose: that life prepares us to be with God again. I'm a Mormon because I love my family, and I love God, and I want more than anything to be with them all for eternity.

How I live my faith

I've recently been called to help teach others about Jesus Christ by serving people in Reunion, and I'm very excited for that! I get to serve the people of Reunion for eighteen months, and share the love of Christ with them as I serve. I attend church each week with others in my area, and I'm an active member of a women's organization within my church. I love to serve the other women in my area by being their friend and helping them with what they need. My favorite part of this organization is the service, which will help me be able to effectively serve the people in Reunion once I arrive there.
