Hi I'm Brynn

I grew up in a small town in Arizona, I find a way to do everything despite my physical difference, and Im a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in which I grew to love many things that make me who I am. I grew up playing soccer, and continued to play throughout high school until a knee injury prevented me from being able to participate. This knee injury, however, didn't prevent me from being able to run, so my love of running developed. I enjoyed participating in track and cross country. They were great character builders and taught me a lot about hard work and persistence. I continue to do activities that involve running such as team and individual races. I have always loved dancing, and enjoy tap, ballet, and ballroom. If there is ever an opportunity to dance, I am there right away. I enjoy journal writing. I see it as a way to put thoughts into words which is very important because that is the only way they can be seen now and in the future. Outdoor activities such as hiking make me happy, and I try to do them as much as I can. Now, something that people will notice about me is that I am missing half of my left arm. I was born this way and it is all I've ever known. I don't see it as a burden, but rather an experience that is very unique and definitely has a purpose. I enjoy it when I have the opportunity to share with others how I am different physically, but also how and why I live my life in a positive way.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were already members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This was a blessing because I was always being taught and I was always influenced by those that had strong testimonies. However, there came hard times in my life where I felt lost and fear filled my heart. But I came to the conclusion that I needed to act on faith and turn to God...and every time, I felt His love. I have felt so many times the love God has for me and that this church is true. I have, through searching and asking and living the teachings I have learned, become more and more converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I see the joy that I have by living the gospel and it makes me want to continue to do so, even when it is hard. I know that whatever happens in my life, I have a loving Heavenly Father and a Savior that knows me and wants me to return to them. And I have a bright hope that I will..that each of us will.

How I live my faith

I find the most joy in living my faith by being around others who share my beliefs or who want to learn about my faith. The church is organized in a way that developes unity. I have come to know so many different people that share the same desires, and I feel stronger with them. It has been very important for me to learn that people are not perfect, but that we have a perfect example who is Jesus Christ, and if we follow him, we will be able to love as He loves. I have felt joy in serving in different callings in this church that have all helped me grow closer to the people and to God.
