Hi I'm Sophia

I've grown up all over the Western United States and have moved a total of twenty times. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sophia. I love Summer, bright colors and throwing parties for my family, not necessarily in that order. In fact there is no order to those three things, they all kind of just go together. I also LOVE my family, they give me so much strength. I am the oldest child of six which means I am the first kid who gets to serve a mission! My family and I love to do things outside like hiking, camping, going for walks, riding our bikes or just being out in the backyard for a BBQ. Our family also loves doing entrepreneurial businesses. Someday I hope to Illustrate a children's book. I love art and this has recently become my next artistic goal. Next on my list of life goals is to write a novel for teenagers. I love reading and I have especially been inspired by the writings of C. S. Lewis and Brandon Mull who can write exciting, uplifting, and morally strengthening stories for youth and adults alike. Well, that's me in a nutshell. Nice to meet you! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel, and was baptized according to my will when I was eight. Being in the church as a kid was just what we did. However, as I have gotten older I have learned that the gospel really is true and that it can bless my life. Through attending church, watching General Conference and reading the Book of Mormon, I have found answers to some very difficult questions and help with some difficult problems in my life. I choose to remain a member of this church because it brings light, love and peace into my life and helps me become better.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving the 5-6-year-olds in our ward. I also participate monthly in visiting teaching which is when two women plan a message and go around and visit a few other women in the ward, getting to know them and trying to bring them closer to Christ.
