Hi I'm Beth

I'm from England. I love helping people, spending time with family, and visiting new places. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm nineteen years old and am from England, UK. I finished my A-Levels last year; I studied Sociology, World Development, and Religious Studies. I love helping people and being able to make a difference to other people's lives- even just through a smile! I love dressing in lots of colours and find it a fun way to express yourself through your choice of clothing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon for my whole life- I was born into it because both of my parents are members. My Dad was a convert who came from no religious background at all, but when he learned the message of this gospel, he felt its truth and so made the decision to be baptised and has never regretted it. I am grateful to my parents for raising me in this religion because it has shaped me into the person that I am today: it has been a great blessing to have the guidance of God in my life and to be able to know that I am never alone. God is always there and he knows and loves each and every one of us as individuals. He has a plan for us: our life has purpose and meaning. I am grateful to know that when we die, there is life after death, and so we have the chance to live with our families forever. My Dad passed away when I was 5 years old and so this church has been a great comfort to me in knowing that I will get to see and know him again- we will be able to be together forever. Growing up in the church hasn't meant that my my life has been perfect, it can be easy to doubt your beliefs and to struggle with the normal challenges of life, but this is when God comes in- it is during these times that he is there to comfort and strengthen us. He loves us and wants only the best for us. This is why I continue to follow His gospel.

How I live my faith

I am currently a Ward Missionary in my home ward, so I work alongside the missionaries that serve there and help to organise their meal appointments for the week. This gives them a chance to meet the people that live in our area and they can share a spiritual message with them whilst visiting their homes. At the start of April I am leaving to serve a mission for 18 months in America! I am so grateful and excited for this opportunity to share the message of the restored gospel with others, so that they may know of the love and plan that God has for them.
