Hi I'm Annie Graham

I was born and raised in Utah, I hope to share the light I was raised with. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college that I attend in Hawaii. I love learning about and interacting with other cultures, and this is a great place to do just that. I love playing sports: soccer, basketball, and volleyball are my favorites. I love music: listening to it, playing it (piano), singing, dancing to it. I love adventuring and trying new things, there are so many amazing and beautiful things to do in this world and I want to try as many as possible. More than anything else though, I love this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I attend church regularly and have done so since I was a baby. My parents and extended family are very devout believers in the faith, and I have had an amazing community of people to support me every step of the way. My father and mother have some of the strongest testimonies of this gospel that I have ever personally witnessed. My father is always first to share his testimony, and isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in, even when it is not a popular opinion among peers and those he respects. I have always felt comfortable in asking him questions about the gospel, and he has always tried to guide me in a way that I would be able to find the answers for myself rather than him spoon feeding me his own beliefs. My mother's testimony is less obvious but just as strong, as she chooses to express it mostly in her deeds rather than words. She holds fast to our faith, and lives it to the best of her ability. Because of these strong testimonies, as well as countless others I have surrounded myself with, I have developed my own testimony. I know that this is the true and restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony in His redeeming grace. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a true prophet of God, and he did restore this church to the earth. I have a testimony that through Christ's sacrifice we all have the opportunity to be with our families forever, and to progress through the eternities as perfect beings like Him. I know that President Nelson is our prophet today, and that he is the only being that holds all of the priesthood keys on this earth. God speaks to us through him, and his words are truly inspired for our day. I bear witness that these things are true in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

Besides weekly church attendance, other ways I live my faith are through the fulfilling of my callings. I am a ward missionary, so I have the opportunity to visit with members in my ward and get to know them, as well as sharing a brief spiritual message. I am also a temple coordinator, so I get to plan and organize ward temple trips.
