Hi I'm Trevin Fristrup

I grew up in Wellsville, Utah, I love baseball, I love my family, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I live in a small town in Utah. I have grown up playing/watching sports especially baseball. I love being outdoors especially in the Mountains. I was recently called to the Peru Lima South mission. I can not be more happier to serve the Lord in Peru to bring them the joy that the Gospel brings.

Why I am a Mormon

Since my parents were members their whole life, I have also grown up in the church. I always went with them because that is what they expected of me. It wasn't until I was about 14 years old and was asking God to forgive me for what I have done. I came a crossed a scripture that stated "Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more." That is when I have felt the powerful of the Atonement and realized that this is the true church of our Heavenly Father. Every time I doubt my faith I always think back to the times I have felt God's love and the Holy Spirit testifies that He is there and LOVES US!!

How I live my faith

The way that I live my faith is going to church every Sunday and trying to be more Christ-like each week by partaking of the Sacrament. Not only by going to church brings me closer to Heavenly Father but also reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible and praying daily.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Trevin Fristrup
We sure do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God! We believe that through his sacrifice that we may be forgiven of our sins. He suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane and bled out of every pore that through him we may be forgiven. We also believe that when he was on Earth he established his church and led by example. He said to Peter in Matthew 4:19 " Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Immediately they dropped their nets and followed him. He was loved by many and was hated by many. Even though many hated him, never once did he hate them back. He LOVES each and everyone of us no matter what we have done and WILL accept anyone. That is why he died for us, he loved us so much he was willing to give up his life to save everyone. Show more Show less
