Hi I'm Lindsay Phillips

I'm a Mormon from Elk Grove, California. I love the Gospel and the Lord. Soon to serve a mission in Edmonton Canada.

About Me

I love to read just about everything in the fantasy/adventure and sci-fi genre. I love to sing, whether it be praising the Lord or just singing in the car with my sisters. I gained my love and talent for baking and gardening from my amazing mother. I gained my thirst for knowledge and the scriptures from my father. I'm the youngest of eight children. I love my six sisters, one brother, three brothers-in-law, one sister-in law, and nine niblings (nieces and nephews) with all my heart. I have an almost unhealthy love for superheroes, from comics and the scriptures. Physics is my favorite school subject and I hope one day to teach it.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel brings me truth, comfort, and light in a world permeated with darkness and confusion and anger. I have discovered the love that my Heavenly Father and my Savior have for me and all of their children and I know they want us to follow them and keep their commandments so that one day we may return to our heavenly home in their presence. I strive to be worthy of living with my family for all eternity in the presence of our heavenly family.

How I live my faith

I strive to live as our Savior did by learning to love and show kindness to everyone around me. One of my favorite experiences serving my ward family was baking home-made bread for our sacrament service each week for over a year. I learned so much about my savior and the importance of this symbolic ordinance as I simultaneously did the same for others in our congregation.
