Hi I'm Taya Ann

I am a convert, I grew up in Utah, attended a year of college at UVU, and enjoy to be outdoors! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a few different places in Utah County and southern Utah, I love my family which consists of my grandparents, mom, step dad, and 4 darling siblings! I really enjoy the outdoors, my favorite activities include hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and fourwheeling! I have summited many peaks in Utah county, my favorite is Mount Timpanogos! I also enjoy drawing, music, and spending time with people. I have been called to serve a mission in the Dallas, TX mission! I am in my second semester of college, but plan on transferring schools when I come home. I work for my colleges intramural program, my favorite sport that I referee is football. I appreciate a good sense of humor and yeah thats all.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because, growing up I haven't had your typical family experiences so when I was introduced to the gospel I found that it brought comfort and purpose to my life at a time I felt lost. My family was shocked when I wanted to get baptized and then later serve a mission but, even though they may not understand they still respect my decisions. I believe that without the guidance and blessings that this church has brought me I would be on a very different not so good path. This gospel fills my life with comfort in knowing that I have the chance to become better person everyday and that I get the opportunity to learn and grow from my mistakes and become a Christ-like individual! I love the idea of service and not only do I get to come unto Christ but I can help others do so as well and that I could help someone find the light of Christ in their life and change their perspective and help them realize the need for growth in this world.

How I live my faith

I am the only active member in my family so I try really hard to bring the gospel to them, it hasn't worked yet but I am still working on it! I have a calling in my current singles ward of a visiting teaching coordinator, I help plan visiting teaching and help others with what they may need in the ward through visiting teaching. I have held a few callings throughout church and I have loved and appreciated each and every one of them!
