Hi I'm Allie

I grew up in the small town of Monticello Utah. I love the outdoors and playing sports. I'm a mormon.

About Me

My name is Allie Maughan and I grew up in the small town of Monticello Utah. Considering it was so small, a lot of my interests and hobbies came from doing things outdoors with my family. I grew up riding four wheelers, hunting, fishing, wake boarding at lake powell and playing sports such as volleyball basketball and running track. My grandparents and uncles own a farm in Monticello so I also grew up working on the farm during the summers. I plan to enter the medical field after serving in the New York Rochester mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the only way to true joy. The gospel brings me so much peace and comfort each and every single day. Through living the gospel each day, I can continually feel my saviors love for me. The knowledge I have that we are all children of God and that he loves us all unconditionally through the thick and the thin allows me to feel comforted in all times. I am a Mormon because living this gospel allows me to feel protected from the advisories of life and always allows me to feel and know that God is always here for me especially during the hard times of life.

How I live my faith

I am in a YSA ward where I am in charge of devotionals on Sunday nights for my ward. I have to assign someone new from our ward each week to give a short devotional for all that desire to attend that night. I interact with my ward and bishop by doing so.
