Hi I'm Trina

I have grown up in Utah. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, but I love playing them more than watching them though. My top three are softball, basketball and volleyball. I also love helping others; that is one reason that I am a CNA. I enjoying helping others especially when times are hard and making them or seeing them smile and laugh is the greatest reward. I enjoy doing service, but more secret service than anything. I play the piano and the violin and enjoy them both very much. I was attending the University of Utah and will continue going there after I return from my LDS Mission. I am going to school to be Registered Nurse. I want to go into Pediatrics or the Oncology(cancer) units. I also love beaches and just the outdoors in general. I enjoy going boating and hiking as well. But when it all comes down to it my family is my everything! I have amazing parents and 2 great brothers. I couldn't ask for a better love and support system.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love this Gospel and the joy it brings into my life. I have no doubts that what we are taught throughout our lives isn't true. I believe and know it to be true. I have been raised in the LDS

How I live my faith

In my ward, I teach the children. I teach 8-9 year olds and it is the greatest experience. I have also taught the little ones like the 3-5 year olds and they are so energized and fun to teach and help.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Trina
In the scriptures it is taught by Jesus Christ that baptism is essential to Salvation. Since there are many people who were not baptized before they passed away, doing proxy baptisms in the temple gives them the chance that they didn't have in their earth life to be baptized. After the proxy baptisms are done they are given the opportunity of whether or not they will accept these blessings that have been done for them on earth. They choose to accept these blessings or not while in the next life since they have passed on. Show more Show less
