Hi I'm Elisabeth Portillo

I'm from Missouri, I love food and being physically active, I love my family, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I have two sisters, one of them is my twin, and we have a black tuxedo cat named Squirt. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, singing, drawing, reading, exercising, running, and learning new things. I have my Associates Degree, and as of now I am enjoying life and trying to decide what the next step is in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of my life. My parents are both converts to the church. I can honestly say that I CANNOT imagine my life without the gospel. The gospel gives me so much peace and happiness that the world cannot. The peace and happiness I feel is forever, and I know that this is because of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I know that this gospel is true. I have prayed to know that this gospel is true, and I have received that answer to my prayers. Knowing that my Savior lives brings me everlasting peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others in church and in the community. My family and I do a service project in town called Operation Backpack for our local school district. I also live my faith in the work place, by helping others and by being kind to others. In church I visit different members once a month, and I also have a calling as a ward missionary. I either go our with the missionaries in our ward, or I help plan events.
