Hi I'm Elise Richins

I love to have fun. I love to eat. I love sports. I love the outdoors. I love my family. I love this gospel. I love being a Mormon

About Me

I am from Utah. I am the youngest of four kid in my family. I have one older brother, two older sisters, two beautiful nieces, a very handsome nephew, and an adorable dog named Louie. I attend Brigham Young University where I am studying accounting, and am about to serve a full-time mission in Missouri, Independence. So excited to have the opportunity to teach people this gospel that I love and cherish. I love to play basketball, water ski, ride horses, being with my family, and learning knew things.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the privilege of being born and raised in the church. But my choice of continuing to practice this religion has been all of up to. I know that this gospel is the true and restored gospel on this earth. I see so many blessings in my life when I keep God's commandments and I feel his love on a daily basis. I know that we have modern revelation here on this earth to help and guide us when we need it the most. I am eternally grateful for this plan of happiness that God has created for us and I try my best to stay on that path and do the things that God would wish for me to do. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that it was translated by a prophet of God. It contains so much truth and power that affects my life for the better. This gospel brings so much happiness and direction in my life. I love it so much and I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I attend all of my church meetings every week. Depending on where I am because of school determines which church meeting that I go. I do not currently have a calling, but in the past I have tried my best to fulfill my calling as best as I could and get to know the various people that are in my ward. I love to talk to people and have the chance to organize and execute activities. I read my scriptures daily and try my best to follow in Christ's footsteps and do things that he would wish that I do. I strive to keep His commandments and continually love those that I am around. When I am doing what I need to do to draw closer to Christ I feel of his love and notice that blessings that I receive in return.
