Hi I'm Mary

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a mormon

About Me

I love baking, music and am a big family person. I have finished my first semester in college and am now preparing to go on a mission!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I went to church and was a Mormon because it was what I was told to do, and what our family did. As I got older it became more of my choice whether I was going to put my efforts in church activities and programs or not. Going through my jr. high and high school years many of my friends questioned things like why I didn't drink coffee or tea, why I would never drink or get a tattoo, why I can't go out with them on Sundays...etc. Sometimes I asked myself those same questions. Each time I went to church on Sunday, partook of the sacrament, went to Sunday school or seminary and institute, or prayed and read scriptures I felt the truthfulness of the gospel. Out of everything in this world, it made the most sense to me. The answer to all of those "why" questions, even as to why I am a Mormon is simply because I know it is true, and because I know, I am willing to live in accordance to its truths. I truly believe Jesus Christ walked this earth and died for us, I truly believe that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and that the gospel is restored, I believe that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that we have a Living prophet today. True and everlasting happiness can be found within this gospel.

How I live my faith

Currently, my calling in the church is teaching the 8-9 year old primary kids. I love each of the kids and learn so much by teaching them.
