Hi I'm Hunter

I grew up in California and Idaho. Now I play college soccer, and am leaving all of that behind to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born/lived in California, but moved to southern Idaho when I was 7. I love playing soccer, and was offered a scholarship to play at a college in Oregon. My hobbies include playing the violin, ukulele, and the piano. Recently, I received my mission call to the Mexico, Cancun mission and I am so excited to spread the Gospel to the sweet people of Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is completely true. I'm a Mormon because I know that Christ and Heavenly Father have bodies just like ours and that Christ truly suffered on the cross for everything I would individually go through in this life. I'm a Mormon because I know that following the commandments, the Word of Wisdom, and standards in the "For the Strength of the Youth" pamphlet truly set us apart from everyone else. I also know that these standards keep us safe, healthy, and happy. I'm a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is truly another testament of Christ and I have a strong testimony that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing my talents and being an example to my friends. My calling in the church is "branch organist" for my young single adult branch. Every week I am able to play the hymns as members sing along and I am so grateful for the peace the words and music of the hymns bring. I also try to be a Christlike example to my friends so they are able to know my testimony because of the way I live and act. Daily scripture study and prayer are important things in my life and I have seen the difference doing them has made.
