Hi I'm Hayden Webster

I grew up in Utah. I am the oldest of four siblings. I love this gospel and I am excited to share it with others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah (USA) and have lived there ever since. In my family I am the oldest of four siblings. Living in Utah something that I have really enjoyed is being in the mountains. I love to camp, hunt, fish, and hike in the area around where I live. The mountains are my favorite place to be in my down time. In addition to that something else that has brought me joy is doing humanitarian projects. I have had the opportunity to travel down to Ecuador and Peru to help the people of that country. A hobby that I have is I love music. My favorite music to listen to is country music and some of my favorite artists are, George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Marty Robbins. With music I also participated in my school choir as a baritone. Two of the classes that I really enjoyed in high school were welding and wood shop. These two classes were a few of my favorites because I was able to create things with my hands. With my free time on the weekends I enjoy dancing. Some of my favorite styles are country swing, the waltz, and the cha cha.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of how the gospel has changed my life. Religion has a way of making tremendous impacts on peoples and the things that they do. When I participate in this belief in Christ I feel a difference. I feel his love for me when I do the things that he would do. I feel his guidance and support when everything seems to be crumbling around me. I can see the light that it brings to other people. Another reason why I am a Mormon is because of the hope that it brings me. I have not always been where I am now but through Christ and his Atonement I have been able to draw closer to the spirit and become a better person. Through Christs Atonement I also know that I will be able to be resurrected after this life and be with my family for eternity. This knowledge has brought peace to my soul in times where it is hard. I am a Mormon is because of these reasons and many more. I love this gospel and I want to be able to share it with as many people as I can so they can feel the things that I have felt and be changed through Christ to be the best person they can be.

How I live my faith

One way that I particularly live my faith is through service. The phrase, "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God" has really hit home with me. Some of the ways that I serve is by shoveling snow off of peoples driveways in the winter, doing yard clean ups in the spring with my ward, and being involved in as many service clubs as I can. I have also been extremely blessed with the opportunity to do humanitarian work in other countries. In my travels I have been able to help the people of Ecuador and Peru on many occasions. Through these many opportunists of service I have been able to make a difference to those around me and to bless other peoples lives as well as my own. I realize that the happiness that I enjoy comes from the efforts that I put in to do good for other people.
