Hi I'm Annie

I was born in Utah, grew up in Ohio/Texas. I am preparing to serve a mission. I am Mormon.

About Me

I am currently enrolled at BYU-Hawaii. I love to go on hikes. I enjoy surfing and skateboarding. I played Basketball in High School and love that sport a ton! I consider myself to be pretty outgoing and enthusiastic about life. I am highly considering majoring in Intercultural Peace-Building. I would one day love to work with the church in forming relationships with outside religions of other countries.

Why I am a Mormon

At the age of 20 my mother converted to the church. She was previously aethist and had never been apart of any religion before. My mom is one of my biggest examples of faith. She had parents and siblings telling her not to join this church and she pressed forward with faith. A year later she served a mission. She’s shared her testimony with me so many times and at the age of 12 I really started to gain my own testimony that this church IS true. It is meant for everyone. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, sacrificed everything for us to turn to Him, repent, and become more than we ever thought we could become. I have seen the Atonement work in my life as I have changed in many areas to be able to become strengthened by this Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to serve a mission for a year and a half in the Toronto, Canada Mission speaking Spanish. Through preparation I am trying to learn the language which takes a lot of faith. I am trying to look for ways to serve and share this gospel with those around. In church I am in the presidency of the women’s group and through that I attend meetings, prepare lessons, and pray for individuals I feel need help. This is how i live my faith.
