Hi I'm Hannah

I live in the emerald green forests of Washington state, I'm an equestrian, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a passionate equestrian and have worked with horses most of my life. I love reading books (any kind, but especially fiction), and gaining knowledge through them. I also hope to one day start an equine rescue that will focus on using rehabilitated horses to help, and bond with, teens who struggle with mental illnesses.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because everything in the gospel brings peace, strength, solace, and order to my life. And everything just makes sense. The principles taught in the gospel are consistent, and when lived by bring great peace to my life. Peace is needed so much in our increasingly tumultuous world, as well as protection from the evils that lurk. There's no other way I would rather live than by the principles and commandments taught. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is complete, and is the same anywhere in the world. That's because we are all striving for the same thing: to become more like Christ and be worthy to return to our Father in Heaven. We believe, and I know, that we are all children of our Heavenly Father. That knowledge alone gives great strength in times of bounty, and in times of trial. There's nothing we cannot overcome through Christ who suffered and died on the cross that we may return to Heavenly Father and be cleansed of our sins. Sin is unavoidable because we are all mortal and make mistakes all the time. But God has created a way that we may be redeemed and return to Him, and one day become just like He is.

How I live my faith

I'm currently preparing to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Spanish language! It's one of the greatest, and most difficult, tasks I could commit to but I know that I can be God's hands in serving and teaching during my mission. I'm excited for the things I can learn, ways I will grow, and the kind of person my mission can help me become.
