I was born and raised in Oregon. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man and we have been married for 46 years. We have been blessed with 5 children and 15 grandchildren. I love to play the piano. I took lessons for 1 year when I was 6 years old and taught myself the rest. I love to sing but not at all good at solos. I love to crochet, cross stitch and tie quilts. I did a daycare in my home for 17 years, worked in an office that microfilmed records, and worked for a podiatrist for 12 years.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born, my parents were Mormons and I was raised in the Church. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I have always believed in and had a testimony of the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know this Church is the true Church and that Joseph Smith restored the Gospel to the earth in this the latter days. I know that he also translated the Book of Mormon from the gold plates. I know that this book is another testament of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the Atoning Sacrifice of my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He lives.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my church ward. I have had many positions or callings over the years. I have been a president over our ward children and their teachers. I have held the calling as an organist many times since I was 16 years old. I have also been a choir director. My present calling, I am a ward missionary, and I teach a class on Sunday once a month. I also help and visit the less active women in our ward. I have also served for 9 years in our local temple. My husband and I have received a call to serve in the Tennessee Nashville Mission. We are so excited and looking forward to this.
