Hi I'm Dean

I was raised in California. I joined the Church in my mid 40's, when I moved my family to Wyoming.

About Me

I am a retired third generation plumber. I have worked extensively in Wyoming and Montana, the last 10 years was extensively welding and pipe fitting. I like to tinker in my shop where I can work with wood and metal; and love raising jalapeno peppers in our garden. I enjoy camping and fishing in the mountains with my family. Currently I am living and working on a farm helping my friend with his cattle and crops.

Why I am a Mormon

I noticed something good in the people of our community who are Mormon, before I was baptized. It seemed they lived their religion and religious beliefs, something I was not used to while living in California. That and their kindness opened my heart to be receptive to the Gospel messages from the missionary's. It caused me to ask questions which were always answered honestly.

How I live my faith

Through my 20 plus years membership in the Church, I have worked extensively with Church administration. Now I am teaching 4 year-olds about our Savior, and it's been a fun experience! I try to be like Christ daily, and be non-judgemental about people's choices and opinions. I try to help others when I see the need (i.e. someone broke down on the side of the road).
