Hi I'm Myles

I grew up in Morgan, Utah. I enjoy computer programming, dirt-biking and piano. Most importantly though, I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I enjoy spending time outside with my family, mostly while hiking or camping or riding ATVs. I am going to school to become a Software Designer. In my free time I like to play video games and read books. I have a wonderful girlfriend who I hope to marry in the temple someday someday. I play the trombone, piano and the trumpet. My goal is to learn every instrument typically present in a band.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and I know it is true. It took me a long time to develop my testimony because I transgressed a lot. As I came to the Lord and really repented, I began to feel the Spirit and I knew the Book of Mormon was true. I'm so grateful that I was able to gain this testimony and experience the joy that comes with living a faithful life, and I hope to share that joy with the whole world.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving people through church activities as well as on my own. I try to be a faithful member of the church as much as possible, and I know I can repent when I mess up. My goal is to never let an opportunity for service pass by without acting upon it. I try to be kind to everyone I meet, whether I know them or not. I love to serve, and I hope I can continue to love the people I serve.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Myles
Mormon women are just like other women outside of the church. I love my girlfriend because she is kind, fun, sweet, and happy. I am pretty sure other women outside of the church have these same qualities. Women and men are equal in the church. We believe that "niether is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord". Men and women have different responsibilities in the church, but both are equally important in the home. Husbands and wives should lead the family together, as equal partners. Show more Show less
