Hi I'm Emily

I grew up in small town Idaho. No, I don't speak with a weird accent or wear a cowboy hat. Yes, I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I grew up in Idaho, but moved to Utah my junior year of High School. After that first year in Utah, my high school split. Including college, I have now been to four new schools in four years. I love to run and be active outside, but lets be honest...I also greatly enjoy ice cream and having lazy reading days on my bed. Good music is a must for surviving life (along crazy dance parties in the kitchen when no one is home). I like cooking when I have the time. I also like cooking when I don't have the time and I'm procrastinating my next college essay.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know my Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to not only be happy, but to have joy that will last for eternity. Eternal joy! Imagine the last time you felt true joy. The gospel gives me hope that I can have that feeling forever and ever and ever. Isn't that a beautiful thought?

How I live my faith

I currently attend a young singles adult ward at Brigham Young University. I'm on the Indexing Committee, which means I help others with their family history and record records for our ancestors.
