Hi I'm Annika

I'm a BYU student studying business. I am passionate about music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student, and I love school and always finding ways to gain more knowledge. I find that I am happiest when I am with my family, whether it's playing baseball, watching a movie, or just sitting around the dinner table. I love the ocean, and the rain. I hope to one day make an impact on someones lives in some form or another; when I was in high school I was blessed to go on a humanitarian trip, and since then I've always wanted to do something with my life that can improve the lives of others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel brings me joy. I cannot imagine where I would be if I were not a member, and where I would see myself going in life. This gospel gives me a purpose, and a reason to keep trying to do good and become more like Christ. The gospel gives me hope, for a chance to become a better person and progress to a better life. I can see from family member who have left the church how much of a blessing being in this gospel truly is, and how much light it gives me in my life. I more than anything am excited to share it, so others can feel Christ and Heavenly Father's love for them. I know that I am loved and when I follow what is commanded of me that I will be happy. Christ suffered so much for me, and I want others to know that He did the same for them.

How I live my faith

I am currently in a Young-Single Adult ward, where I am with other freshman at BYU. I am a Sunday School Mission Prep teacher. I teach people my age what is in the guideline for how to prepare to serve a mission, which has blessed me immensely as I prepare to serve my own LDS mission. Though it may seem hard to do in an area where the majority population are members of the church, I find joy in sharing the gospel and talking about my beliefs, because I know how much it can bless lives.
