Hi I'm Liberty Dougal

I am from Texas. I am currently go to college at UVU. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of five girls in my family. I was home-schooled most of my life by my mother. By being home-schooled I grew very close to my siblings. We were more than siblings, we were friends. Throughout my high school years, I was part of a diving club team. I love being outdoors and spending time with my family. I am currently going to college and I was just called to serve a mission in Ecuador.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. One day I asked myself if the church was true. I had grown up doing the things I was supposed to do and never thought about actually what I was doing. I was reading one night in the Book of Mormon and the thought came to me "is it true?" I knelt down and prayed and asked Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon is true. I waited and nothing came to me. I continued reading and a verse came to my attention. I can't remember what it said but it said that it was true. My heart was filled with warmth and I knew that the book was true. Later when I went back to that verse I realized that it did not say what I had thought previously. I realized that God had answered my prayer in testifying to me that the Book of Mormon is true. This helped me come to the knowledge that the true is church. I love this church and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in the church. I am going to a young singles adult ward for college students. I help the organization of women with planning activities, organizing lessons on Sunday, and serving the women who are in need.
