Hi I'm Allyson

I grew up in Utah. I'm a student at Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the middle child of seven kids. I lived in AZ for a few years before I moved to Utah. I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with my family. I'm also really into music and play the piano and violin. I'm attending college in Utah right now but I don't know what I'm studying. I'm leaving for my mission in England soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the church because my parents taught me about the Savior from the day I was born. Growing up, I attended church, learned about the Savior and studied the scriptures. For others, it is hard to see how you can have faith when it is all you've ever known. However, there was a time in my life when I decided for myself to gain a testimony of this church instead of relying on my parent's beliefs. I prayed to know if this church was true and I felt the Holy Ghost tell me that it was true. Being a part of this church also makes me so happy. I don't know where I would be without feeling the love of my Savior every day and having the support of my ward members. All in all, there are just so many good things in the church that I can't justify leaving. It really is the true church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day through studying the Book of Mormon and saying prayers every morning and evening. In church, I serve by leading the music in sacrament meeting and singing in the ward choir. I also live my faith by acting as the Savior would and being kind to everyone I meet.
