Hi I'm Henry

I grew up in Pocatello Idaho, attended the local school made many friends and have fond memories. I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hi I've been a Mormon all my life, have met wonderful people thought out my life in the church. Am down to earth happy go lucky person, like being around people, and helping them if am able. I work for public transportation company which has been a challenge, but it has its rewards.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up without much support at home, my father was not an active member mainly because of addictions to cigarettes and alcohol. My Mother was the guiding light of me attending my church meetings. It was hard sometimes in my youth to wonder why my father did not come with us. In time I came to an understanding, that he wanted to be like others fathers, but was held back from his addictions. With love and understanding from my mother over time he slowly took baby steps. He was able to return to church. Through youth to adulthood am thankful to others that guided me towards the right path which in turn my testimony grew and I became a faithful latter day saint. I served a full time mission married in the temple and continue learning and growing.

How I live my faith

I love attending church which helps me ponder, learn, and expand my knowledge. which always brings out the best in me. Sacrament meeting is where we have the wonderful opportunity to greet other members, sing a song, and have an opening prayer to start the day out. We are giving the opportunity to renew our covenants you might wonder what that is, which is a blessing over the water and bread n remembrance of our Savior Jesus Christ. Prayer has been a faith builder. Whenever I find myself in a bind in life or work and all seems lost I remember that when I start talking to Heavenly Father over simple things they really get answered, giving me guidance in my job or challenges in my life. It truly happens. I believe in prayer strongly.
