Hi I'm Emmylly

I'm from Quevedo, Ecuador. I'm an English Teacher. I was a Seminary teacher for about 4 years. I love be a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a loyal friend. I'm a cat person but I love dogs and other animals. I love to sing, dance, write and read. I am an English teacher, but I'm still learning this beautiful language. I've read The Book Of Mormon for about six times, I'm reading it for a seventh time at the moment. I live with my parents and my youngest sister and my niece. I only have one brother and I'm the third child in my family. I finished Pathway and after my mission I'll continue studying online at BYU-Idaho. I live in Ecuador. Recently I was in Brazil, in a beautiful island named Florianopolis, lovely place, a paradise. I would like to come back in the future; I would like to travel to other places. New Zealand and Amsterdam are in my top list.

Why I am a Mormon

At first, as a kid, I just felt good with my teachers and friends, but later I wanted to know by myself and I started to read the Book of Mormon and the Liahona, I prayed every night to know if this Church were true, and suddenly I felt it in my heart. I've never doubt again, I was 17 years old.

How I live my faith

I met Church when I was 7 years old. I was baptized when I was 8. My whole family where member, but my father. He got baptized 8 years later after me. We were sealed in the Temple a year later and we will be faithful since then, though it hasn't be an easy journey. On April I will be serving a mission in Colombia. I served as a secretary, teacher and counselor in Primary, Young Women and Relief Society in my ward and stake. I learned to love each of the member of the organization where I was called.
