Hi I'm Spencer

I grew up in the Philippines. I started college at BYU-Idaho last Fall 2017. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports such as Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball; it is really fun. I also played competitive for the video game CS:GO. I really like cooking and socializing with other people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am born of the covenant and as I grew up in the church, I really had a hard time understanding and living the gospel to the point that I bear the testimony of my parents. I struggled a lot when I was a teenager; around 16-18. At that point in my life, even though I still go to church with my family, I know that I am lost and I do not know how to come back to the tree. Then, the opportunity to go to BYU-Idaho came up. At first, I really did not want to go here but my parents insist and eventually I agreed to go. Long story short, I met a lot of great people here in BYU-Idaho despite feeling the guilt of my past transgressions. They impacted my life in the best positive way. They opened my eyes that Jesus Christ really loves us and will still welcome us even though sometimes we get lost in the straight and narrow path. I am a Mormon because I know that there will be peace and comfort in our lives when we follow the commandments and live the gospel of Christ.

How I live my faith

My callings as of now are hometeacher and the FHE father/leader of our FHE group in the Single Adult Ward.
