Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Mormon. I grew up traveling all around the world mostly in East Asia for my Dad's job.

About Me

I love working with people. I've focussed mostly on special education students and old people in y area. I love kayaking, white water rafting and camping. My family is the most important thing in the world to me. I love spending time with them even if we are doing nothing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the only way to find true happiness. My faith has helped me even in my darkest times. In the moments where all hope was gone; where I didn't think I could even stand my devastation was so great. These moments defined my faith. I was able to change my life around, find gratitude while doing it and find joy after. I know that I never have to live that way again because of the love of my Heavenly Father. The teachings are true and are designed by a perfect being to help us be happy.

How I live my faith

Every morning I say a prayer to my Father in Heaven thanking him for the life he has given me. I use this time to ask for help in my endeavors and for help seeing opportunities to serve people. I think it's the small things that can really help someone. The Spirit can help me to know what to say and what to do to help those around me. I love writing notes for people who are struggling sharing with them the love of their Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father's love for us can lift us up when we need it most.

What is the Law of Chastity?

The Law of Chastity states that the sacred power to create children belongs only within the bonds of marriage. In addition once we are married it means that we should only have sexual relations with our husband or wife. This law is not meant to restrict our happiness, freedom or pleasure. It is actually the opposite! It helps to create happiness by bringing safety, peace, trust, and self-respect. The law of chastity helps prevent suffering that can come from engaging in sexual acts outside of marriage or with people that are not our husband or wife. Show more Show less
