Hi I'm Ben Beckstrom

I grew up in Oregon, I'm an Eagle Scout, I love to sing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I technically know how to play the piano, and really should have practiced more while I was taking lessons. I read a lot, genre doesn't matter. I have a wonderful dog and a fantastic family. I played football and was the president of my high school's National Honors Society chapter. I have been called to serve as a missionary and have been assigned to labor in the California Irvine Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and have been raised in it my whole life. I choose to remain a member because I have gained a testimony through serious study and prayer. I believe that this church is exactly what it claims to be -- a restoration of the Church founded by the Lord Jesus Christ while He lived on the Earth. I know that my Savior lives, and that He gave His life for each of us, that by and through Him we can become something great. No matter how you feel you have fallen, or how unworthy you may feel, He can lift you up to dwell with our Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because I believe in Christ, and because I have received witness after witness that this is His church and that miracles never cease. Regardless as to the doubts I have had, I feel my Savior's love and know that His Church, this Church, is where I need to be.

How I live my faith

I seek to emulate the example of the Savior, and try to be an example to others. I teach adult Sunday School, and I pray, read the scriptures, and seek to serve as much as I can.
