Hi I'm Erika

I am a student at Arizona State University. I like to hang out with friends, play the piano, and go hiking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student and I am studying Accounting. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love playing the piano, hiking, and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon. I know that it is God's word to His children. The Book of Mormon teaches us more about Christ's suffering in Gethsemane and provides great details on faith and on God's plan for us. I know that being grateful and optimistic in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in will bring us joy and allow us to communicate with God through prayer. I am grateful for the knowledge I have of where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. I am grateful that God's plan allows for second chances so that I can try again to become more like Him. I am grateful for prayer, the Atonement, and my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and that He answers my prayers through His Spirit. I love the Bible and the Book of Mormon and the truths that they contain. I am grateful that Joseph Smith prayed to know what church to join and followed the answer he received from Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I am grateful that he translated the Book of Mormon into English and that he restored the truths found therein. I am grateful for temples and the blessings they bring into my life. I love my Heavenly Father and am so grateful to Him for the many mercies He gives me each day.

How I live my faith

I help in the nursery at church with the children that are 2 or 3 years old. I teach them how to share and play together. I also teach them about God and let them know that He loves them. I enjoy volunteering in my community and working with different people.
