Hi I'm Neo Adam

I really don't know what to say about myself except that I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Church. I am the eldest of three siblings. I am in college but I have stopped since I am serving in the Lord's mission. My hobbies would include reading comics and playing computer games. I am also fond of sports especially basketball, though I am not good at it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. My mother and my father are both members of the Church so naturally I became a member as well ever since I was young. As a kid, my testimony was handed out to me, they taught me everything I learned about the Church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm actually envious of converts because they get to experience discovering the truth for themselves. But if you were to ask me, would I still choose to become an LDS even if I'm not born into the Church? My answer would be yes. For I know that the Church is true, I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches the fullness of the restored gospel of Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that in the Book of Mormon, the plain and precious parts of the gospel can be found. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, he was called of God to restore His Church and bring forth His Gospel to all His children. I know that the current prophet, President Russell M. Nelson is a true prophet of God and that he receives direct revelation from Jesus Christ to govern and direct His Church. I know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father lives, and that They love us. And I love them. And this is why I am a Mormon. And all these things I testify in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

Currently, I help with the missionaries in our ward. I do this because I am preparing for my mission. As someone who just recently "graduated" from being a Youth, I try my best to encourage the Youth my ward to actively participate in Church activities and prepare for their own mission.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Neo Adam
The Atonement of Jesus Christ pertains to the event when Jesus Christ sacrificed His life in order to pay for our sins. It was absolutely necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life for there is no one worthy enough to pay for the price of our sins. And through His death, came His resurrection. And because of His resurrection, each and everyone of us will be resurrected as well. Because of His Atonement, we may return to our Father in Heaven and receive eternal life. Show more Show less
