Hi I'm Danyon Gedris

I grew up in Arizona. I volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to do all sorts of hands on things. I am involved in plays as an actor and techie. I enjoy serving and love to do it through the Boy Scouts. I volunteer with their leadership training program called National Youth Leadership Training. I love making things and have been involved in multiple Maker Faires. I love to sing and dance and do it in my own way. Also, I am an amateur radio operator.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this is the true church of God. As I have grown up in the church, I have been encouraged to gain a testimony for myself. To find out what I truly believe I have prayed and studied and pondered at length. But my experiences have been the most important piece in helping me gain a testimony. Particularly my trials have turned my heart toward Heavenly Father. When I was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, I had no clue how that would change my life and I soon learned I could do little to get rid of it. I hadn't done anything that resulted in this difficulty, but as I experienced the hardship of moving, I learned I needed strength from God. This hindrance has helped me focus more on doing God's will and as I have prayed, He has testified to me that this is His church and I need to work to invite others to feel His love and blessings through this church.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to go on a mission to teach and serve people in Texas. I currently study the scriptures whenever I can and enjoy discussing them with peers in my class. It has been great to reach out to other church members and help them learn some while making sure they are doing well.
