Hi I'm Jean Carlota Suaco

Hi, I'm Carlota, and I'm a recent convert. I got baptize last June 2017, and it was the best decision I have ever made.

About Me

I am a 25-year-old adventurer. I love to explore things, from different places, human nature and arts. I enjoy doing a lot of things. I paint using watercolor, acrylic and oil paint, I do calligraphy, draw using traditional art, I create different stuff using 3D and digital arts and take beautiful photographs about nature and cats. Books are meant to be enjoyed. As a part of my exploration, I now work as a full-time and a freelance artist and a 3D student. I enjoy observing and teaching my friends and strangers the things that I know, from sharing the wonderful things that our Heavenly Father has made for us, to the talents and skills that was given to me. I cherish life, and as much as I can, I understand human emotion and empathize with them. We are all here for a reason.

Why I am a Mormon

The first time I heard about the Latter-day Saints was from a friend. It made me curious why he loves his religion so much. I have never seen someone like that. He then tell me some stories that was on the Book of Genesis. For all my life, that was the time that I was enlightened and finally understood the 1st chapter of the Bible. The curiosity grows, as time goes by, I finally met some missionaries. I can feel through them their sincerity, their faith and love for our Heavenly Father. This is what has been missing all my life. Finally, I was baptized and confirmed as a member of The Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and it was the best decision I have ever made. I believe that through Jesus Christ, we can return to our Heavenly Father. My faith in God grew stronger everyday as I try my best to become like him. I pray and thank for the blessings as I read the scriptures. And now, my next mission is to be married at the Temple with the boy who cared so much for me, that he led me to the right way.

How I live my faith

I read The Book of Mormon everyday. I pray and thank Heavenly Father for all the blessings. I do charity work, it is what I do best. I read different scripture, especially the one that was given to me on my birthday, Jesus the Christ. As I read these books, I try to apply them in my everyday life. And when someone asks me about my religion, I proudly tell them the things that I know of. As a Young Women Secretary, teaching them about our Savior is one best way I can express my gratitude to our Heavenly Father.
