Hi I'm Jean Carlota Suaco

Hi, I'm Carlota, and I'm a recent convert. I got baptize last June 2017, and it was the best decision I have ever made.

About Me

I am an Artist and a Designer. I love creating any forms of art, especially calligraphy. I do traditional art, digital arts and 3D modeling. I also love taking random photos using my phone. I'm currently a working student, earning for my school tuition and for my future marriage. I love listening to indie music. I hate watching movies alone, it makes me feel lonely. I see things before it happens and it make me feel a little special, and I'm good at cheering up people. I'm really observant and loves observing things. My dream is to go in an adventure around the world especially Japan, London, and France. Right now, I'm studying to speak french and nihonggo at the same time. Ganbattene~ (Goodluck (Japanese) :D

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the Book of Mormon and in the Bible. The first time I heard about the Latter-day Saints' was from my boyfriend. I was curious about him, why he love his religion so much. I did not know I was thirsty for that knowledge, for knowing God, until I met my first missionaries. I was amazed, they're like an angel, they talk lightly, and know that they speak the truth of our religion. I was happy, this is what I have been looking for all along. Changing my religion is not hard for me. As long as you love Jesus Christ, you'll never get tired nor be challenged to follow his commandments. Sharing testimonies uplifts my heart; knowing that Heavenly Father gives me comfort everyday. There may be ups and down everyday, but I always keep in my mind that it was for my own good, it gives me another perspective in my life. I will always be thankful and grateful for the gospel. Someday, I will be able to share it to other and to my family, it may be a slow process, but still, it's onward!

How I live my faith

I'm trying my best to read the book of mormon everyday. It is such a challenge, especially when temptations are lurking around the corner. I'm currently called as a Young Women Secretary and Ward Missionary. Being a young women secretary gives me the best learning experience that I had missed. It's also a new way for me to share and serve the young women with my talent. Ever since I've heard about being a missionary, I've always dreamt of serving God as a missionary. It has always been in my heart up 'til now, but being sealed in a temple for eternity with my companion is also my goal. I pray everyday, even when I'm just walking, talking to God, asking for the Holy Ghost to guide me and help me in my everyday life. I love going to church every Sunday, it is the one day that gives me peace in my heart, knowing that I am in the house of our Lord.
