Hi I'm Scott Brough

I grew up in the USA. I'm an avid sports fan and athlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved sports. Whether it be football, baseball, soccer, even powerlifting - I have always found joy in watching, performing, and competing in athletics. I will be serving a mission and have received the call to serve and have been assigned to labor in the Portugal Lisbon Mission. I have looked forward to this time in my life my whole life and have tried to prepare as best I can. I plan on going to college after my mission and hope to one day become a successful surgeon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith and was baptized when I was eight years old. I remember vividly the decision I made to be baptized and have since been blessed beyond belief for my faith and service in God's church. I am so grateful for the knowledge and understanding of this world and my place in it and without it I would be a different man than I am today. This church has blessed me both spiritually and physically. I have had doubts, as has everyone else but every time those doubts come, I am able to study and come to know that this church is lead by God and that the Book of Mormon really is a true book. There is a living prophet on the earth today and God's power is real and on the earth today. I have come to know these things through studying, through prayer, and through experience. I am grateful for all I know and all I have been blessed with and that is why I am Mormon; That is why I chose to be baptized; That is why I am choosing to serve my Lord as a missionary in his church today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be like our Savior. I love my Savior and owe him everything. I enjoy serving in my calling to help and lead some of the young men that I am grouped with. I have had the opportunity to lead and plan certain activities and I love the process of planning activities and going through with them; this has brought me and others much happiness and has been a testimony to me that God really leads his church.
