Hi I'm Debbie

I grew up in Canada. I am the mother of nine amazing children and twenty-four grandchildren. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been married for 41 years. Our family is very important to us. We enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren. Since I am originally from Canada, we have spent most of our vacations there. We enjoy the beautiful scenery there and spending time being outdoors. We are a musical family and love singing together. Most of our family all play the piano as well as some other instrument. My favorite activities are cooking and reading.

How I live my faith

I love that our church teaches the importance of families. We are encouraged to develop strong families and also to learn about our ancestors and about their lives. Service is also strongly encouraged within our church. We all have callings or assignments within our church. We also try to find ways to serve other people in our neighborhoods and communities. As we serve others, we feel the joy that comes from helping Heavenly Father's other children and it gives us a greater purpose in our lives. It helps us look outside ourselves and become part of something bigger.
