Hi I'm Gingerlei

I was born and raised in Utah. I am the second youngest of seven children. I am half Samoan and half Tongan. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love writing in my journal, spending time with my parents and siblings, taking pictures, listening to music, exploring, and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. I find that through my trials and everyday life it is easier to find happiness when I follow the teachings I learn in church. I'm a Mormon because I am constantly learning who I am and I'm surrounded by people who are willing to help me become who I am supposed to be. I am a Mormon because I want to be.

How I live my faith

I often visit about 2 or 3 families a month. Some families I visit are members and some have left the church. I love all of them! I also go to the temple once a week with friends. Sometimes my little brother and I will make cookies for our neighbors!

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Gingerlei
Some of my favorite things in the world can be found just by looking around me. Sunrises and sunsets, the ocean, rain, flowers, etc. I look at these things and I wonder, how can there not be a God? There's no way that these things didn't exist one day and then the next day it all just happened to come together; God, our Heavenly FATHER, used science to create all of our favorite things to serve as a reminder that He loves us and hasn't forgotten about us. God lives and he is in the details of our lives. Show more Show less
