Hi I'm Lexi

I grew up in Idaho. I love cool socks. I played volleyball in highschool. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and just moving out of my parents house and going on a mission. I am the 4th kid out of 9. I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters but I am the oldest girl. I love and adore my family so much and they are the most important thing to me. I have played volleyball and soccer. I used to do ballet which was so so fun. I love swimming and even used to compete in swim meets. My main interest lies in writing and art. Reading is a huge passion of mine so I want to be able to write books for others to enjoy too! I love creating art in almost all mediums. I think it's the only thing I am really good at. Since I live in Idaho, I love skiing and snowboarding as much as possible during the winter season! Anyways, my friends think I am the biggest goof but I don't mind. I love to make people laugh!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon, not because my parents raised me in the church, but because I believe it to be true. More than anything, I love what living the faith has done for me and who I am because of it. I truly believe it molded me into the best version of myself and it continues to do that because believe me, I have a ton to improve on. I know that God loves me so much and blesses and strengthens me everyday. The peace and comfort I recieve each day from the spirit and looking at my life in an eternal perspective is unbelievably sweet. Because of Book of Mormon, I know why I am here on this earth and I love that as I follow God's commandents, I can be sealed and be with my family for eternity. That is something infinitly precious to me and I would never want to be without that knowledge. I want to share it with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by the choices that I make and how I treat people. I don't cheat on tests even if I know I didnt study and I'm doomed to fail. I respect my parents by being completely honest with them and not sneaking out or disobeying them. I follow their rules. I go to church every sunday and encourage the other youth to participate and feel that peace.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Lexi
The atonement is so so important and without it, we wouldn't be able to see and live with God again. We wouldn't be able to be with out families forever. I love the atonement so much and there is absolutely NO doubt in my mind that it is real and it can heal us because I have experienced it. I love that it isn't just about repenting and being forgiven but also about not being alone. Christ experienced all of our suffering and pain. He knows me perfectly and can comfort and heal me of my weakness and pain because of it. Christ is there for us fully and would never abandon us so how could I ever abandon my faith and love in someone who has selflessly given me SO MUCH. Show more Show less
