Hi I'm Ryan

I like to sing and make videos. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Washington, and I've lived there my entire life. I have two older brothers and a dog that I love very much. Ever since I was a little kid and could get ahold of a camera I've been making videos. That has been my creative outlet for as long as I can remember. I've always been an entertainer, and whether around my friends, in groups of strangers, or on the internet, I think there's not much that feels better than making people laugh. In my last years of high school was when life really got good for me. I discovered my love for music, joining both the band, the jazz band, and the jazz choir at my high school. I did this while juggling college courses and a part-time job. By my senior year I was auditing most of my music classes because the school wouldn't let me take so many classes on the books. That's always been my personality though. When I find something I love, I do it as often as I can for as long as I can. Being able to follow my passions has shaped me into who I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've felt the spirit confirm to me that the church is true and the Book of Mormon is true. Nothing else has shown me such happiness and pure joy as being a part of the church and feeling that spirit. Gods love for me helps in tough times. When I feel down or sad, I can be comforted by the Holy Ghost and know that there is a purpose for us to be here. Being Mormon has helped me develop a closer bond with my family. I have grown to love those around me and genuinely care for others through the church. Being a member and living to follow the commandments has helped me become a more honest, genuine person and I'm so grateful to have it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in obedience to the commandments. To me, living my faith means more than just trying not to do bad things. I also live my faith by uplifting people, making them feel happy in times of need. I love to serve others to see the smile on their face. I also live my faith by going to church with an attitude to learn and to feel the spirit. When I am called to help in some way in the church, I do my calling with a smile on my face because I know every calling, no matter how small, affects someone in a good way.
