Hi I'm Teiya!

I grew up in Idaho. I've been a Certified Nursing Assistant since I was 16 years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, bake, and be with my family. I'm a MOS specialist and a CNA. I participated in my high school's Distinguished Young Women program and won the interview scholarship. I'm currently studying Nursing in college. I love public speaking, and I have no problem making friends and sharing the gospel with everyone I meet.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I know for myself that this church is true. I was raised in the LDS church, and I grew up loving the stories and principles that the gospel of Christ teaches us. One of my favorite parts about the gospel is that the stories from thousands of years ago are still relatable today. Themes like the power of prayer, faith, and being strong even though we are tempted by the adversary are all found in the Book of Mormon. I know that we have a prophet of God on the earth today who receives direct revelation for the church. I know that families can be together forever, and that death is only temporary because Jesus Christ conquered the grave. I know that we are children of a loving God, who wants us all to return to live with him again. He loves us equally and knows us by name. Because of Christ, we can be forgiven of our sins and be made pure.

How I live my faith

I don't currently have a calling, but i'm preparing to serve in the Phoenix Arizona mission for 18 months. I report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on May 30, 2018.
