Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in America and I love painting, piano, and smiling! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending Brigham Young University as a freshman this year, studying communications. I love to paint (Bob Ross is my favorite!), play the piano, facetime my younger sister, and attend my classes here at college. I love my family, I love this gospel, and I love being alive.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being happy! I have an enthusiasm for life that I don't think I would have if I didn't have this gospel. Understanding the Plan of Happiness (where I came from, why I'm here on Earth, and where I'm going) has given me a different perspective on life that has led my focus to be on serving others rather than myself. This gospel continually helps me improve and gives me new insights and understanding of my divine nature. I love this gospel, I love my savior, and I know that this religion is the best thing that could happen for my life.

How I live my faith

I went to high school in a small town where mormonism is more of a minority religion in school, and I helped to eliminate some stereotypes about mormons. My art teacher had a negative perception of our faith, but after talking to him and giving him a Book of Mormon, his perspective was changed a bit. I participate in my current YSA ward as a ward activities co-planner, attend the Executive Council Sunday mornings, and I really like to welcome people to church and hand out the program (Bishop lets me do that sometimes because we don't have an official greeter as a calling). I love my home teaching companions, I enjoy playing prelude music on the piano, and I really like going to church!
